An Evening with Vivaldi is a theatrical exploration of the life, music and legacy of Antonio Vivaldi, one of the most influential composers of the Baroque era. Through dramatic readings, letters, historical accounts and reflections inspired by his music, the production follows Vivaldi from the vibrant streets of Venice to the courts and concert halls of Europe. Themes of artistic passion, ambition, faith, loneliness and the search for immortality through art are woven together with excerpts inspired by his life and times.
